The Pre-IB Programme is a compulsory 2-week course for students about to begin the first year of the IB Diploma Programme in the following academic year. Students are introduced to four IB Diploma subjects (2 subjects per week).

Aims

  • To introduce students to four IB subjects helping them select their IBDP subjects at their school with greater confidence
  • To provide prerequisite understanding and knowledge of the subjects as a "head start" to their first year of the Diploma Programme
  • To teach the subject's specific topics included in the IBDP syllabus in order to make them familiar with the IB philosophy and teaching and learning methodologies

Optional Classes

In addition to the Pre-IB courses, we also offer optional classes that are designed to help with important aspects of the IB programme and university preparation. Students may take one optional class per week.
